Our Mission

The Belonging, Empowerment, and Mentorship (BEAM) Network is a community in SWPA to support educators of color, rooted in belonging and care. We foster connection, mentorship, leadership, and a shared space where educators can be fully seen, feel supported, and empowered to thrive personally and professionally.

Who is BEAM for?

K-12 educators in Public and Charter Schools open to supporting educators of color in the Southwestern PA Region.

Completing this form ensures you are connected to a group that meets your needs and allows you to be eligible for BEAM participant benefits, including ACT 48 credit hours and stipends (pending eligibility).
